The growth story of a rising power star: an immersive industrial research journey

On April 17, 2025, hundreds of students majoring in electrical automation from Longdong College embarked on a journey of learning to Shaanxi Huadian Electric Co., Ltd. This unique corporate study activity opened a door to the real industrial world for future power engineers.

First, Minister Yang, the head of Huadian International Trade Department, explained to the students in detail the corporate culture, development history, product categories, etc. of Shaanxi Huadian Electric Co., Ltd., as well as the high and low voltage switchgear and circuit breakers developed, produced and manufactured by our company. They are exported to the European market, the Central Asian market, the Southeast Asian market, the Russian market, etc., and are well received by customers. The mystery of the company's global layout was unveiled: "Our circuit breakers not only light up thousands of lights in China, but also build an electric Silk Road in Eurasia."

 Secondly, Engineer Liu and Engineer Li from our Huadian Technology Department explained to the students in detail the types, structural principles, and application areas of high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers. The students listened carefully and watched carefully. From the production and assembly of components to the inspection and testing of finished products, the students witnessed the research and development and application of electrical technology with their own eyes, and deeply understood the corporate mission of green development in the power and electrical industry.

Finally, teachers and students discussed some issues in the power industry with our engineers, and answered questions and solved doubts, which made the students' trip worthwhile.
